Mortice or Kerf Cut Anchoring

A Mortice anchoring method is preferred over a Kerf.  A Mortice detail will offer more protection to the panel than a continuous Kerf detail.  Domus Facades offer an isolated panel clip to suit both options and considers panel production tolerances in line with BS EN 1469: 2004.

The support system can comfortably carry 50mm thick stone units over a 4.5m floor span.

Each panel is fixed to the support work individually so you take away compression forces found on traditional fix systems enabling future maintenance inspections.

Domus Facades carry out dry and wet testing on this fixing type in accordance with BS 8298-4: 2020 Annex D.

Domus Facades Mortice / Kerf system (DFS05 and DFS06) holds UL WinMark certification.

The benefits of an undercut anchor is you reduce the stress in a panel when compared to more traditional methods of fixing.

Domus Facades offer a unique colour coded QA method within this system and considers panel production tolerances in line with BS EN 1469: 2004.
